Crowders Mountain State Park, located in Gaston County, North Carolina, is a 5,217-acre North Carolina state park. It contains the peaks of Crowder's Mountain and The Pinnacle, and is located near Kings Mountain, North Carolina, and on the outskirts of Gastonia, North Carolina. Crowders Mountain got its name from Crowders Creek, which runs through it. Crowders Mountain, contrary to popular belief, was not named after Ulrick Crowder. He was never seen in the area, according to historical records. Climbers flock to the cliffs to test their skills.
Although this straight path is only 0.7 miles one way, it is considered hard due to the 337 stairs required to reach the summit. Make use of the benches that can be found along the walk. The Pinnacle Trail, which leads to the top of Kings Pinnacle, is another trekking option.
