The historic Bunker Hill Covered Bridge spans Lyle's Creek and is one of only two intact covered bridges in North Carolina. Herman Haupt, a well-known Civil War engineer, designed the bridge's 85-foot span.
Bunker Hill Memorial Bridge (commonly known as the "Lenny" or "The Zakim") is a cable-stayed bridge that spans the Charles River in Boston, Massachusetts, and was completed in 2003.
